About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available in the Wellington region for a part time Youth Navigator. The purpose of this role to provide safe, consistent, and tailored support to Rangathi (Youth) by building positive relationships, delivering after-hours support, facilitating programmes and activities that promote independence and life skills, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment that supports the wellbeing and development of all Rangatahi.
As a Rangatahi Navigator , you will be responsible for assisting our clients by:
Youth Transitional Housing and Engagement
Providing after hours support between the hours of 4pm and 8pm
To be successful in this role you need the following:
Communicate effectively
Work well under pressure
Are planned and organised with a high attention to detail
Will build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people
Have knowledge/awareness of different cultures
Hold a full NZ drivers license
A recognised qualification in Youth Work or Social Work
