Join our team and be part of a supportive and fast-paced environment. We’re seeking a full-time Housing Support Worker based in Lower Hutt, supporting individuals and whanau across the wellington Region
About the role:
Housing Support role is a full-time position based in Lower Hutt. You will be working under the Tenancy Manager to ensure that our properties/rooms are maintained to a high standard. You will be visiting our clients on a weekly basis to complete inspections as well as ensuring our properties are fully stocked when clients enter/depart.
What you will be doing
Conducting weekly room/house inspections at our various properties
Carrying out inductions and exits for whanau
Cleaning of our properties as required
Administration duties
Attending weekly meetings with your team and attending trainings as required
Following appropriate Tuatahi policies and procedures
What we’re looking for
A high level of personal integrity.
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Flexibility – able to adapt to new and changing situations
Collaborative working style and the ability to build rapport with tenants and external community.
Proactive personal initiative and able to make decisions when necessary.
Confident using electronic systems
Excellent communication skills
Full driver's license is preferred; however, applicants who are able to obtain their full license within an agreed timeframe will be considered
Hold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand
