THE MEANING BEHIND OUR TUATAHI SYMBOL

The koru = regeneration of life

The triangles have two meanings

Niho Taniwha = Teeth of the Taniwha or

Kaokao = Literally translated armpit but it speaks of the shape the armpit forms when a mother is breastfeeding.  This speaks of the bond and relationship that is created as a foundation in their lives.

The Triangle also represents the Wainui Hill, as The Tuatahi Centre is located right next to it.
